Women are at the heart of families and communities, yet they often face gender-based discrimination, economic dependence, and limited decision-making power. Access Centre Uganda works to address these inequalities through targeted women empowerment initiatives.

Our programs promote:

• Economic empowerment through Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) and income-generating projects
• Gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and survivor support
• Leadership development and women’s participation in local governance
• Reproductive health education and access to services
• Skill-building in entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and financial management

We believe that when women are supported to lead, earn, and speak out, they uplift entire communities.
