Agago District, like much of Northern Uganda, bears the scars of past conflict. Despite the return to peace, communities still face social tensions, trauma, and deep-seated divisions that hinder collective development.

Access Centre Uganda facilitates peacebuilding and reconciliation processes that heal wounds, restore dignity, and promote unity. Our interventions include:

• Community dialogue forums on peace, justice, and reconciliation

• Intergenerational and intercultural exchanges to rebuild trust

• Peace education and trauma healing workshops

• Youth-led campaigns on peaceful coexistence and conflict resolution

• Promotion of traditional conflict resolution practices and local leadership involvement
